Terms of Service

The simple rules of using Pixora — written so a human can read them.

Effective date: 14 August 2026

1. The agreement

By downloading or using Pixora (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What the app is

Pixora is a photo gallery and backup application. It organizes and edits photos on your device and can back them up to your own Telegram account using Telegram's official API. Pixora operates no servers and provides no storage of its own.

3. Your Telegram account

Backup requires your own Telegram account. You are responsible for:

  • keeping your Telegram login credentials and session secure,
  • managing your account settings, recovery options, and two-factor authentication,
  • anything that happens through your account, including backups made from it.

Telegram's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to your use of their service.

4. Your content is yours

All photos and files you manage with Pixora remain yours. Pixora does not claim any ownership over them and — because it has no servers — cannot hold them.

You are solely responsible for the content you store or upload. Do not use the app to store or distribute illegal material or content that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Backup channel

The app may post a secondary backup copy to a Telegram channel configured by the developer, using Telegram's official Bot API. As the channel owner, the developer can read the contents of that channel. You can disable this secondary copy in the app's settings. By using the backup feature you accept this.

6. Permissions and local processing

The app may request media access, notification, and biometric permissions solely for the features described in the Privacy Policy. All photo analysis (timeline grouping, search, editing) happens on your device. No content is processed by Pixora servers — there are none.

7. Pricing

The app is free to use, with no subscriptions and no paywalled features. We may add optional paid features in the future, but we will never hold existing functionality hostage to a subscription, and we will never show ads in the app.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important photos. Backups stored in third-party services (including Telegram) are subject to that service's availability and policies — Pixora cannot guarantee the durability of data stored outside of your control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixora and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the app.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above is updated with each change. Material changes will be called out on this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
